When you open the Stan James Casino IOS App for the first time it can be quite confusing. You can be forgiven for thinking that the app does not include any online casino games. As Stan James is renowned for Sports Betting, this app is predominantly geared towards this form of gambling online.

The initial home screen that you may see advertises a welcome bonus offer for the sports betting. The options at the bottom of the app are also sports betting related. There is no indication of access to the mobile casino. However, a simple tap on the Stan James logo at the top of the app brings up a new screen that includes a casino option. The initial landing page only seems to appear once. From then on you will arrive at the new home screen with access to the casino.

Another issue we have with this particular app is that it has not been updated since August 2014. It is therefore quite old and can be buggy. There were on occasions screen freezes and automatic closing of the app. Games would also freeze on occasion and pages would be slow to load. This is more than likely the reason why it has only received a highest star rating in iTunes of 1.5 stars with 43% of reviewers giving it just 1 star.

However, once you do get the app to run you will find a good variety of games available. These include table games like Blackjack, Roulette and Baccarat. Premium games include titles such as Aliens, Basketball Star, Bloodsuckers and Bridesmaids. You can even play a total of 5 progressive jackpots. These are Cash Splash, Major Millions, Treasure Nile, Mega Fortune and Mega Moolah.

To navigate around the app there is a menu area towards the top of the screen. It is on this menu that you can login if you have an existing account or register as a new player. You can then access the All-Sports option, In-Play or Casino. Selecting Casino will bring up the associated games with the most popular appearing first. You will see a promotional banner area detailing current offers and then a further menu below this. It is this second menu that allows you to choose the game type you wish to play. All relevant casino games for that game type will then appear on the screen.

Swipe the screen up or down to view the available games. Selecting your game of choice will present you with 4 options. These are to either log in, open a new account, play for fun or close the popup.
